CERTIFICATE IN BIBLICAL STUDIES
30 semester hours
Purpose:
The Certificate in Biblical Studies will provide personal and spiritual enrichment as well as foundational preparation for ministry through a basic understanding of the Scriptures, growth in godliness, and introductory exposure to ministry principles and practice. It is the initial component of a degree program for persons undecided about the specific focus of their future ministry.
Academic Information:
The one-year curriculum (30 semester hours) is designed to
provide a practical bridge between secular education and vocational
or lay ministry.
For those who terminate their study after one year,
the Certificate marks completion, but those who wish to continue
may apply for entrance into a degree program.

CERTIFICATE OF MINISTRY
36 semester hours
Purpose:
The Certificate of Ministry is design to provide advanced study in preparation for non-pastoral leadership roles in ministries and vocational work. Students will be given the opportunity to develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate church ministries in order to develop skill sets and competencies that are necessary for effective ministry leadership. Particular emphasis is given to the concept of servant leadership in the preparation of ministry leaders for the local church.
Program Fundamentals
- Gain a thorough understanding of servant leadership as it relates to church ministry and vocational work.

Build communication, teamwork, and management skills necessary for successful ministry leadership.

Learn the competencies that are necessary for successful ministry in your area of interest.
